Due to the wave of demonetization that engulfed India in late 2016, we have decided to postpone the release of Deceived from February 2017 to June 2017.

Based on the present scenario in India where people are resentful in spending their precious Rs. 500 and 2000 notes, we certainly do not want to take any risks as we have high hopes for Deceived. Thankfully, the author herself agrees with this strategy not wanting to risk the success of her debut novel. Meanwhile, we’ll be promoting the book on all digital and physical fronts. As it is said in the publishing world marketing time is never really enough, so we are going to take advantage of this delay in publication and utilize the extra time to our advantage.

Another advantage we have now gained is that we can list our book on NetGalley for a good period of 4-5 months before the actual release. So now we’ll be able to distribute Deceived to a wider audience for reviewing purposes.

The tentative date set for Deceived’s release is 24th June 2017.
